Description:

The Deep Water Hap (Placidochromis Electra) is a beautiful and peaceful cichlid fish that is native to Lake Malawi in Africa. It is known for its striking coloration of white/light-blue with a blue-green sheen over its scales and several dark bars behind the eye. Females are particularly colorful compared to other African cichlids. Deep Water Haps can be found over sandy habitats on the eastern side of Lake Malawi.

Feeding Recommendations:

Deep Water Haps are omnivores. Their diet should comprise high-quality flake food, pellets, and a mix of frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and mysis shrimp. It's advisable to feed them multiple small meals throughout the day.
